Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Meetrub platform — including the website meetrub.com(collectively the 'Platform') — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bizkro ('Meetrub', 'we', 'us'), a company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013, India.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
• You must be legally capable of entering into binding contracts under Indian law.
• If registering on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
• Users from jurisdictions where such services are prohibited are not permitted to register.

Account registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Each person may only maintain one active account per role (one Creator account, one Freelancer account).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify Meetrub immediately at support@meetrub.com of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Meetrub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Marketplace model

Meetrub is a technology intermediary and is not a party to any service agreement between a Creator and a Freelancer. Meetrub is not the employer of any Freelancer. The relationship is an independent contractor arrangement.

Chat-first hiring

• All hiring on Meetrub takes place through the in-platform chat system.
• A binding order is only created when both parties have accepted a Hire Request or Offer and the Creator has completed payment.
• Sharing personal contact information in chat is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.
• Meetrub reserves the right to monitor chat messages for compliance with these Terms.

Escrow and payment

• Creators must pay the full order amount upfront before any work begins.
• Payments are held in escrow within Meetrub's designated Payment Gateway account.
• Funds are released to the Freelancer only after the Creator approves delivery, or upon auto-approval after 5 days of non-response.
• Meetrub deducts a 20% platform commission from every completed order.
• GST at 18% is charged on Meetrub's commission only, not on the full service price.

Creator obligations

• Must provide accurate project briefs and respond to freelancer queries promptly.
• Must review and respond to deliveries within 5 days of submission.
• Must not request work that violates any law or Meetrub's Prohibited Content Policy.
• Must not attempt to contact Freelancers outside the platform to circumvent Meetrub's fees.
• Payment is non-refundable except as provided in the Refund Policy.

Freelancer obligations

• Must deliver work that matches the agreed scope, quality, and deadline.
• Must maintain accurate service listings and portfolio information.
• Must complete KYC verification before making a withdrawal.
• Must not submit AI-generated work as original human work without disclosure.
• Must comply with all applicable tax obligations including GST registration if applicable.
• Must not solicit Creators to transact outside the Meetrub platform.

Fees

• Platform commission: 20% of every completed order, deducted from freelancer payout.
• GST: 18% on Meetrub's commission, added to creator's total payment.
• Subscription fees for Meetrub Pro are charged as per the current pricing page.
• Meetrub reserves the right to change its fee structure with 30 days' notice.

Modification and termination

• Meetrub may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email.
• Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
• Meetrub may terminate or suspend any account for breach of Terms or illegal activity.
• Users may close their account by contacting support@meetrub.com, subject to resolution of pending orders.

Prohibition on sharing personal information

Users are strictly prohibited from sharing personal contact details — including but not limited to phone numbers, email addresses, WhatsApp numbers, social media handles, website URLs, or any other information that would enable direct communication outside the Meetrub platform — with any other user through the chat system or any other feature of the platform.

Off-platform transactions — Meetrub not liable

Any deal, agreement, transaction, or engagement made between a Creator and a Freelancer outside the Meetrub platform is entirely at the parties' own risk. Meetrub bears no responsibility, liability, or obligation whatsoever in respect of such off-platform arrangements — including but not limited to non-payment, poor quality, disputes, fraud, or any other loss arising from such arrangements. Meetrub's escrow protection, dispute resolution, refund policy, and all other platform safeguards apply only to transactions completed through the Meetrub platform.
